Valentina was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay. She completed her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at Rosalind Franklin University.
She enjoys being at home watching movies with her cat, Star, and she also likes to go for long walks on the beach. Right now she is trying to improve her cooking skills and learning how to bake.
Ziqing received her B.S. in Clinical Pharmacy at Hebei Medical University, and her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at Fudan University.
In her spare time, she enjoys listening to Taylor Swift and Yonezu Kenshi. She likes reading Haruki Murakami and Kazuo Ishiguro. Watching movies is one of her biggest entertainments. She also is a cat person, Vivi.
Talia is from Lido Beach, New York. She received her B.S. in Neuroscience from Brown University.
In her spare time, Talia enjoys birdwatching, playing violin, and going to the beach. Sadly, she is allergic to both cats and dogs.
Kayla is from Seattle, Washington, and received her B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington.
Outside of her work in the lab, Kayla enjoys hiking, reading, and trying new restaurants and cafes.
Kaibo is from Vancouver, Canada, and received his B.S. in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Physiology from the University of Toronto.
Outside of research, he enjoys reading poetry, bouldering, and listening to indie music.
Debbie is from Chicagoland's northern suburbs. She is a 1st year undergraduate majoring in the Integrated Science Program.
Debbie likes to drink bubble tea, and she is very fond of her cats and fish.
Addison is from Ann Arbor, Michigan and is currently a 1st year undergraduate at Northwestern University studying Neuroscience and Latin.
In her free time, she likes to run, crochet, weightlift, and listen to new music. She loves dogs and has two French bulldogs named Penny and Ollie at home.
Alonso is from Chicagoland's northern suburbs. He is a fourth-year student at DePaul University studying Biochemistry. He is particularly interested in the intersection of behavioral neuroscience and organic chemistry synthesis.
In his spare time, he likes staying active training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and enjoys cooking. He enjoys playing piano and exploring videogame orchestral scores. He also has two dogs at home, Luna, crazy energetic Black Lab and Scrappy Doo, a chill shepherd mix.
Jimmy Flynn is a second-year student at Northwestern majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Economics. He is from Hartland, Wisconsin.
In his free time, he enjoys thrifting, listening to music, and trying out new restaurants in Chicago and Evanston. He has two dogs, Lucy and Doc, and a cat named Cali.
